Pony Camps

During Easter and over the summer months of June, July and August we facilitate pony camps. For a really fun and action packed pony camp experience we run 4 day summer pony camps for children and teenagers . Each day includes a riding lesson, a practical lesson in some aspect of pony care, and various horse activities. Pony camps allow the young rider to increase their knowledge and skills in relation to riding and care of the pony.

 Riding – improve your riding skills every day, supervised by qualified staff.

 Pony Care – lectures and practical experience in rugging, bandaging, grooming, tack cleaning and other aspects of pony care.

 Best Turned Out Pony – while the ponies rest, children/teenagers have the opportunity, to groom, plait and deck ponies out with ribbons etc.

 Show Jumping Competition – friendly showjumping competitions are all part of the fun filled week.

 Prizes – at the end of the week there is a fancy dress competition and rosettes are given out for best turned out ponies, and to winners of the show jumping, most improved rider and fancy dress competition.
